DSG in the Community

Since the Firm’s establishment in 2007, we have given back to the communities in which we live and work. And, we are committed to continuing this effort. The following are a few examples of our social and charitable efforts over the years:

It all started in 2007 when, on the day prior to Thanksgiving, Patrick Dwyer and his staff (consisting of one paralegal!) donated their time and energy to work a pie pick up location in Harvard Square for Community Servings’ “Pie In The Sky” program.

In 2009, the Firm joined forces with a team of local professionals to sell pies for Community Servings’ “Pie In The Sky” program. Dubbed “Team Pie It Forward”, the Firm sold pies with the team each year through 2017, raising over $16,000.00 as a firm, and $350,000.00 as a team.

In 2017 and 2018, the Firm participated in the St. Jude Walk/Run To End Childhood Cancer.

In 2019, managing partner, Patrick Dwyer, with the support of the Firm, raised money and awareness for Shriners Hospital for Children-Boston. To do this Patrick trained for and raced Ironman Mont Tremblant, where he qualified for and raced the 2019 Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Patrick and the Firm raised over $20,000.00 for Shriners.

The Firm also supports the Boston Athletic Academy (BAA), where attorney David Conti, of counsel to the Firm, is a member of the board of directors. The BAA is a local, non-profit organization aimed at educating and training underprivileged student athletes in an environment that recognizes their culture, language, customs and, most importantly, their grown potential as individuals. The BAA was founded by former Red Sox player and Boston native, Manny Delcarmen.
